Monday & Wednesday  9a-Noon August 8 and 10  2 Half Days

Member: $60          Non-members: $70

Explore mediums you can apply to your canvas which builds your surface and allows it to absorb and spread color on your canvas.  Let it dry and start your painting you have sketched out while waiting.  All Levels

Monday, Tuesday, & Wednesday  9:30-4:00pm

August 22, 23, & 24     3 Full Days

Members: $210      Non-members: $240

Pen and Ink and Watercolor are my two favorite mediums. Combining them to create sharp, crisp paintings can be challenging, but also very exciting. Wonderful realistic textures can be achieved. Subject matter will be varied and may include ocean, beach, birds, driftwood and more. Come prepared to learn and have a lot of fun. This class will be open to all levels, but some drawing experience will be helpful. All Levels

 book club

The Art League Education Committee invites all art and book lovers to join our Art League Book Club. Next Book Club meeting is June 4, 2016, 10am – noon at Art League Academy.

We will be discussing:

Man who Made Vermeers:  Unvarnishing the Legend of Master Forger Han Van Meergeren by Jonathan Lopez.

This well-researched, true story is about Van Meergeren, who made and sold Old Master paintings, and the high stakes illicit commerce in the art world between the wars.

There are no Book Club meetings in July or August.

To RSVP or for more information, call Juliana Kim at 843.842.8426 or email
