Ashley Evans: November 6, 2016 – January 8, 2017
With the distinct belief of “Never Settle For Just Good Enough” Ashley’s attitude is exemplified daily in this ideal. His passion for making the perfect image to match each and every individual; he molded his craft for decades starting with his days at Berry College, his Master’s Degree in International Relations and his service with the US Navy as a Naval Flight Officer operating P3 aircraft.
Whether it is creating a one of a kind collage for an athlete or waiting for that perfect moment capturing the ideal sunset, sunrise or portrait, Ashley believes you just don’t do any photograph “just good enough”. Ever changing and ever evolving to constantly improve, Ashley and his soul mate Meredith have made the move to Hilton Head to attain yet another milestone-a change in mind, a change in venue, a change for the better, a change for enlightenment-from the most profound influence…LIFE…the lowcountry LIFE.

Joanne Marois Talbot: November 15, 2016 – January 3, 2017
Born in Quebec City 1950, where I received my degrees in art. A particular moment with a friend leads me to watercolor in the early 1980s. I complete my training at the Pavilion of arts in Montreal. I also took a session of drawing with models at Bishop University in addition to following different painting courses.
Participating in numerous exhibitions in Canada and United states, I became a member of various art associations and received prizes and awards. I start my work with a search of my feeling, objects found in my painting serve my questioning, a door could represent opening, a mask the facade of being. I also turn to the portrait that offers a privileged relationship with the model. Often it is in the background that adds an extra dimension to the painting, that serves to support the intended expression of the work.
The Hilton Head Senior Center is located at 70 Shelter Cove Lane and is open Monday – Friday from 8:30am until 4 pm, visitors are welcome.
