After almost five decades since its memorable debut, we’re re-introducing the STUDIO TOUR, a one-day, self-guided event offering rare glimpses into the creative spaces of over 20 local artists.
This unique Art League event on Saturday, November 8th, invites the public to meet artists like members Pepi McNair, Carol Iglesias and Ellen DiFazio then observe their creative processes and experience the island’s artistic synergy up close. Tour-goers will have an exclusive opportunity to buy directly from the artist at each studio!
Spanning Hilton Head, the Studio Tour includes visits to five private home studios, two commercial studios as well as the Art League Academy at 106 Cordillo Parkway and the Art League Gallery at 14 Shelter Cove Lane—both of which will house multiple working artists.
Participants will discover a wide range of media, including painting, pottery, jewelry, fused glass, basket weaving, quilting, and leatherwork.
The event marks a revival of a beloved tradition first launched in 1977, when the Art League hosted its inaugural Studio Tour featuring renowned Lowcountry artists such as Ray Ellis, Walter Greer, Joe Bowler, and Coby Whitmore.
Ticket proceeds will go toward our ongoing Capital Improvement Campaign. We hope you’ll join us on November 8th. Head to the Studio Tour tab to purchase tickets and learn more!
