Samantha Dwornikoski
Samantha Dwornikoski is an artist based in Hilton Head Island, where she has lived here for six years. She graduated from the Savannah College of Art and Design with a major in Illustration and a minor in Costume Design. Samantha first started showing at the Art League of Hilton Head when she was 9 years old, as the organization’s youngest ever exhibiting artist.
Samantha’s artwork is rooted in mythology, folklore, and history, and takes inspiration from the stories of monsters and their relationships to us as people. Her work combines the whimsical, the surreal, and sometimes the morbid while trying to see the beauty in it all with specific detail and historical references. She works primarily with graphite, pen, ink, watercolor, and digital drawing.
Apart from being an artist, Samantha is also a proud special needs teacher!
